At USA Container Homes, we strive to ensure a smooth and timely delivery of your 40ft Expandable Container Homes. Since these are large, custom-built products, our shipping process is carefully managed to ensure safety and efficiency.
Shipping Timeframes
Processing Time: 3-5 business days
Shipping Time: 20-30 business days (via FedEx/DHL Freight)
Total Estimated Delivery Time: 25-35 business days
Once your order is confirmed, we will begin processing it immediately. Due to the size of the container home, additional time may be required for secure packaging and freight arrangements.
Shipping Methods & Carriers
We use FedEx Freight and DHL Freight for safe and reliable delivery of large-scale container homes. You will receive a tracking number as soon as your order is shipped.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs vary based on your delivery location and will be calculated at checkout.
Some locations may have additional freight surcharges depending on accessibility.
For international orders, customs duties and import taxes may apply, which are the buyer’s responsibility.
Tracking & Delivery Updates

We currently only ship within the USA. If you are located outside the USA and wish to purchase a container home, please contact us for custom shipping options.
Damaged or Lost Shipments
We ensure that all container homes are carefully inspected before shipping. However, in the rare case of damage or loss during transit:
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with images of the damage. We will work with our carrier to resolve the issue.
If your order is lost in transit, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier and provide a replacement if necessary.
Order Changes & Cancellations
Before Shipment: Orders can be modified or canceled within 24 hours of purchase.
After Shipment: Due to the nature of large-scale freight shipments, orders cannot be canceled or changed once they have been dispatched.
